I just got back from watching the fireworks over the Bay with my family.

I went to Pulau Ubin today as part of my polytechnic degree course...

...and explored as much of the island as possible on a bike within two hours. I also learnt a very painful lesson about braking. Thank goodness I prefer public transport.

The boat ride to and back from the island was fun. I kept remembering what Jeremy Clarkson was saying about his amphibious Nissan while I was riding.

Obviously, my idea of simply placing a very large outboard motor onto the back of a pickup truck went very well...until it rolled over.
