I'm currently posting in the forums again.

Today is August 21st...so that means that my semester break officially begins in two days' time, although my real break actually started one and a half weeks ago.

Am about to see my friend off who'll be travelling around the world for nearly a year... although his actual last day at work is tomorrow, in which case, assuming I can prevent becoming inebriated tonight, I'll see him then.

I have been barfing my guts out after a dose of Salmonella. Or some other food poisoning. I'll try to paint a picture. Our cottage is 1000 odd square feet, has no running water or electricity save for a few batteries (quite large, but still not much) and 135 gallons of rain barrels. There are 10 people staying here, and my sister and I have been slowly covering the whole building in vomit. Most of the bedspreads are dirty, and I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!!

I've always used the definition of camping as "no hot running water, no truly permanent structures", so I suppose it really isn't. But I'd have to see this cottage thing to be sure.
