Vasudan mission - disabling pilot messages?
When I try to make a mission where you play as a Vasudan, how do I disable the messages that say "Impressive for a terran" and "You fight like a Vasudan" - but keep the other ones?

Re: Vasudan mission - disabling pilot messages?
I ran into the same issue a few years ago. The easiest thing is to change the messages directly in messages.tbl. I ended up replacing "you fight like a Vasudan" with "long live the emperor," which is normally used as a death sound but is equally appropriate here. :D I changed the death message to a Vasudan yell from FS1 to avoid having the same one for both events.

The "impressive for a Terran" one is only in FS1.

You could also disable built in messages or even messages for particular ships and use event's for the messages instead.
