My "My Music" folder is coming up as an ordinary documents folder an my "My pictures" folder is showing up as a Music folder

Can anyone help me help me resolve this.

Windows can't self-destruct a partition, but what it can do is to deny access to the Shared Documents folder unless you share it on a network. I wonder what they were thinking...

No, like not registering w/ Mickeysoft (set RegDone=1 in the registry instead), like not Validating Windows for WGA (at least not really) and not turning on Automatic Updates, (use AutoPatcher instead) and not using performance counters, and not updating NTFS last accessed time, and not turning on most of the visual effects, and not allowing Indexing of files to speed up M$'s useless search (use PowerDesk 5's FileFinder app or Google Desktop instead) and not using IE as the default Internet browser and not allowing Windows Media Bloater to take over your media file type associations and not using DRM if at all possible, and yes show hidden files & folders, and yes show contents of system folders and don't hide protected OS files, and not allowing automatic configuration of the page file (aka virtual memory, set it to 1.5x actual memory if 512MB or less, 1.0x actual memory if above that)... shall I go on?

I tricked someone into reformatting their computer. But I never used DOS.

if we could stay on topics people...I though i had this problem solved but now its com back.

"My Documents" folder thinks its a picture folder in instead of a plain Document folder

"My Pictures" folder thinks its a Music folder instead of a picture folder

"my Music" folder thinks its a plain document  folder insted of a music folder

Other subfolders are fine. But i cannot reset these folders back to their original folder type.

When i do: "Right click --> Properties" - the Customize tab is missing.

I would like to cure this problem as it is verry annoying

anything that directly modifies the interface in that way (removing tabs) outta be a virus.

Actually that was already default for all the (My Music, My Pictures, My Documents, My Videos) folders.

I think its due to that these were core folders (ie folders that existed when i got the computer) fact that these tabs are missing by default . So i dont know how to switch them back
