You can edit the font files yourself with fonttool.

That would change the only font used in briefs. I was refering to the possibility of using different fonts. Ex. in a com brief you have a quote from a book or a speech, it'd be nice to see it in a different font.

Hrm, that's true. Although it is possible to script stuff in to comm briefings (eg draw a graphic of the text). You'd have to check for clicks on the buttons and handle them appropriately with the scripted stuff, but using the $State:/$On Frame: combo, it shouldn't be too difficult.

No. It's not worth my time to write a script for somebody who's so rude that he derails other people's threads and expects other people to drop what they're doing just because he wants something. IMO, it would be a good learning experience for you to spend some time doing some actual work.

To be fair Mobius does do some good FREDding, but that's about it.

Since the thread has been split, does anyone know about font changes? What do I need to do to use a completely new font? Is it just a matter of placing something in a mod folder?

I'm trying to say that Goober5000 did that four times recently. I was the only member involved.

I asked for help and got a thread lock, I proposed a change and got a thread lock...I have been pointed out as someone expecting "special treatment".

The point is that I'm confused. Not angry, just confused.
