"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Really? Most people wax-lyrical about it, saying that it's the best WYSIWYG editor out there...

I have Dreamweaver Ultradev 4 but have not really attempted to learn it yet; is it any different from the normal Dreamweaver 4?

I'm a software enginnering student hoping to go on to a degree in multimedia, I have a HNC in "Electronic engineering and computing systems" but I'm not intending on being an electronic engineer.

I'm currently learning C++ and reading as much material as I can on the Gameboy Advance, I wouldn't mind being a games programmer/designer or even building models but as you are all aware that kind of thing is only for university graduates.

Basically I'm trying to learn as much as possible

Both Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver Ultradev suck when it comes to developing any website that uses dynamic content. I am sick of silly webdesigners with their "magical" (read: stupid) tools that just screw up my carefully designed code. Even after I started making taglibs for every damn piece of code the stupid thing would still be able to screw it up! I think it has some sort of built-in neural net whose sole purpose is to identify and subsequently screw up dynamic code.

Anyone who actually likes it is either too inexperienced with real websites, or works on marketing.
Probably away. Contact through email.

Im training myself in the ways of the comic book artist. I have a long way to go but considering I started about three months ago, I'd say I'm progressing rather quickly.

But I think I want to be an architect if I knew how to spell it! :)

Im taking this opportunity to :thepimp: my comic and by the time I'm done with it, you guys will hate me for all the :thepimp: -age Im giving it :)

I might like to fly one of these someday... :D
What I want to fly...
Definitely going to try to get my pilot's liscence as soon as I can. The crazy thing about this country is that you can fly before you drive...is there something wierd about that? :wtf:
But since I'm only in my early teens - well, I still have a lot of time to think about it. I'd probably like to do something involving computers programming/game design or graphic design type stuff. I work a lot in Photoshop and Quark, I know Visual Basic, and I'm learning Dreamweaver 4.0

And what is CGI?

EDIT: The pic was really big so I put a hyperlink instead

I work as a unix systems administrator. This generally involves sitting on my tail and waiting for things to break. Since the machines I work with are unix, they never break. I am the geek version of a Maytag washer repairman. Now if I could just find a more interesting job that pays the same, I'd be set.
[I am not really here. This post is entirely a figment of your imagination.]

UltraDev is geared more toward designers/developers wishing to utilize the power of server side programming.

Perhaps if you knew how to ultilize such a program you wouldn't be saying that.

Hey Zeronet I don't like my next door neighbours that well, perhaps you could get rid of them and the entire neighboured with your mates...ya....
