Suddenly she goes silent, intensively thinking. The students lean forward, listening for what she was about to say.

Do you realize what the probability of a beam cannon hitting a skilled viper pilot is? Less than null. I've been hit by FF beams maybe twice in almost 7 years of playing Freespace.
