I get this whenever I access the main page. Forums are fine, though. I'm assuming it's just me, because no one else said anything, so what happened?

I got a very explicit "Update goin' on, plz wait kthxbye" sort of message, when trying to access HLP.

And what happened to my project badges?!

Nope, me and tinfoil also have the problem, so it's probably safe to assume everyone is experiencing this problem.

I suspect the site's undergoing some changes, a while ago my project badges disappeared, then they were listed vertically.

I think someone was/is doing maintenance to the forum but forgot to put it in maintenance mode.

Forums were upgraded, that's what happened. Mainpage uses SMF SSI to display news, so it didn't work for a moment until a piece of SMF code was changed after upgrade. The long downtime was unintended and caused by unmanageable large search index, as upgrade script decided to try and modify the index for whatever reason.

Scrolling down the forum main page to see the names of the boards can hardly be described as "hunting". Meh, no harm done, since the threads were merged.
