Oh you still believe in fairy tales like Santa, the Easter Bunny, and free market competition principles?

Re: Your favourite campaigns
Um, they're the same mission.

That was probably one of the best missions in the campaign. Like you said, it was about fifteen minutes long, but those fifteen minutes were filled with what FS2 should be ideally (I think).

Hmmn, for some reason I thought the Nemesis attack was separate. Probably because of the 50 times I played that mission I only saw the Nemesis under 10 times or so.

Re: Your favourite campaigns
The Nemesis appeared in quite a few missions in INFR1. Are you sure you're not looking at the wrong mission? You might have mistaken the mission involving the GVCa Rhemet with the one involving the GTCa Independence.

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

What GVCa Rhemet?

If you've played the whole of INFR1, you should know.

Spoiler:
It's the Vasudans' Carrier-class warship that got beaten into a pulp by the Nemesis and was scrapped
(Not that I liked the look or design of it anyway; rubbish anti-fighter defense. No offence to Inferno modders, though...). :nervous:

Uhmm, Turey, you could put that whole sentence in a spoiler. It makes the post more aerodynamic. :mad2:

Re: Your favourite campaigns
Just finished Blue Planet, and it`s made it onto my fav. list, though I liked Transcend a bit better. BP has a better flow gameplay-wise, but Transcend won in the WTF/HOLYCRAP/PEEYOURPANTS factor.

I need to finish Derelict and Inferno R1 sometime.

Re: Your favourite campaigns
Hey, Fenrir, when you start playing INFR1, here's a tip for that Rhemet mission: Watch those Gagana bombers. They fire multi-launch torpedoes which do a lot of damage to the Vasudan carrier.

Re: Your favourite campaigns
Woah ok then think now since I finished all the voiced campaigns, which should I go for first?
Have Inferno, TBP, and normal SCP freespace.

I suggest SCP, then Inferno, then TBP, because of the timeline. SCP, which is basically FS2 + eye-candy, takes place in 2367. INFR1 takes place in 2401, and TBP is something completely different.

TBP is fun, but only if your computer s fast enough. My computer had 248 MB RAM, so I could take three-minute naps in between missions. :drevil:

Re: Your favourite campaigns
I really liked Derelict and Stormfront I and II. I also like The Procyon Insurgency but I'm finding it a little too hard so I get stuck all the time (and I refuse to lower myself to playing it on easy :P).

I also like Transcend for it's story but flying a Herc II all the time gets too boring for me (or at least for as far as I got into the camapign, don't know whether you're able to switch ships at a later point in the story), heavy assault fighters are just not my style. You should be able to switch ships when your wingmates ask whether you want that in the beginning of the game instead of the player character automatically responding that he wants to keep the Herc. I'd really like to try it out in a Perseus or Serapis (or even a Pegasus for the heck of it :P), fits my playing style far better.

The Pegasus-class fighter has far too large a role in that campaign to allow the player to fly one.
