that'd be neat :) Then  as it seems the game is really modable, we'll get to fly other stuff to, since there's at least a kind of futuristic chinnok and a comanche in the campaign. mmh, and the A10... :D

If the reviews are generally favorable, I will get this game as well. They really need to fix up the lag issues though; that is the only really major problem with the game at the moment.

The lag won't be a problem, the demo is run on gamespy servers and there laggy, the full game can be playd on WOL and they have one of the best servers of the world

Heheh... I was one of the 500 people selected for the private beta testing phases of the Renegade project, and let me tell you, the game has increased ten-fold compared to what it was during our day. The netcode has been improved immensely, BELIEVE me.

I think they will patch it later on, but are rather anxious to get it on the shelves.

Bottom line is, I can't wait to get my hands on the single player... :)

there's no single player demo :p anyway, it (the full game I mean) should be released tomorrow :D
for the demo there's already the 1.07 patch, supposed to fix the lag.

It got 43% in PCGamer, BTW.  Said it was utter crap.... especially compared to Jedi Knight 2.

I'd definately wait for a single player demo till you decide if you want it....

its really cool but when we start a dedicated server here half of us arent allowed to join because the server fills up that fast... any yes its a 32 people server

PC gamer noted all the westwood games that way. I don't give a damn about their review: I've played renegade, the gameplay is perfect. I've played many other westwood games, the plots are excellent, the musics are awesome, and the games are well balanced. The second I see the box, I buy it.

Does PCGamer review demos or something?

I usually agree with Gamespot's reviews, but they sometimes mess up too, so I always check four or five different sites' reviews to get a good opinion on the game.:)

Also, the stealth tank rules.:D

lol, and I thought Fileplanet is already enough reason to hate them.:D (IMHO Fileplanet is among the most annoying websites in existence:p)

It's in the shops over here, if that's what you mean.  I was out looking for a copy of Starlancer, as it happens.

Incidentally, PCG still rates FS2 as the best space sim of all time ;)

Well, gonna look this afternoon after school. I hope it's out down there, on the website they say it should be out worldwide for March, the 1st. but supplies...
