Yes, go to the your graphics cards website and download the latest version of drivers from their site!

You do not download OpenGL, it is in the graphics card drivers.

Computer manufacturers usually don't keep up-to-date with their drivers. Try Omega Drivers to see if they work with your card, it uses modified inf-file to install drivers even on mobility radeons. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php

It's included with drivers, you don't actually download it. That is 13 years old, the one you uploaded.

It is OpenGL API for Windows 95.

As has been said many times now. To get latest OpenGL functionality for your video card, install latest drivers. It won't magically update your OpenGL games with better graphics though, just like playing a DirectX 8 game won't look any better on video card supporting DX9 or newer.

Giving people 13-year-old files meant for Windows 95 might not be that helpful nowadays. Especially since every other person in this thread has stated that updating graphics drivers brings forth the latest and greatest installment of OpenGL.

First, find a set of drivers suitable for your graphics card. If you want to be cutting-edge and have all the newest ****, do what Fury said and try the Omega drivers. If you want to play it safe, browse through your laptop manufacturer's site and look for drivers for the particular laptop you have.

Then, when you've downloaded the new drivers, uninstall the old ones. Happens by opening the Add/Remove Program thing from the Control Panel (assuming you are running XP or the likes). Find the part that says ATI Software Uninstallation Utility or something like that. Uninstall it: it should remove anything ATI related. Reboot when promted. Go and check the same Add/Remove Program list to see if there are still ATI components there. If yes, remove them as well. If not, proceed.

Install the new drivers you recently downloaded. Reboot when promted.
