Well, I am learning how to model FS2 and the Shivans are my favorite alien race (by far), in any game, show, etc. So, I came up with the idea to create a Shivan Stealth fighter. I planned on useing the Asaroth design and changing the design some. I would then proceed to give it the stealth capabilities required and used by Terran AWACs. I am currently in the editing process (trying to figure out how I can edit it. ><)

But when I'm done, I think I'll release it.

There's a shortage of shivan destroyers and corvettes though. I ended up giving up my search and used the SCv Scylla and SD Kismat.

I might model some shivans myself sometime, but . . . . who knows when that would ever happen. I have enough stuff that I'm not doing already.

Use Blender, it's a bit harder to learn, but much more powerful. As for the description in the first post, that sounds like the Chimaera from INFR1.

Download INFR1 or the new Shivan mod, and it's the one with ribbed looking front block gun barrel things.

If I'm not wrong, save the files as a .COB, and open them with PCS2. (check the FSO forum)

Ok, but I thought PCS2 was basically a viewer. I noticed it said construction, but isn't that basically the data (stats) that are incorperated into the final design?

Nono. PCS2 is not a viewer. Its used to convert from COB -> POF, and add all the little data bits to make it work (like turrets, gun points, etc).

PCS2 is what you use to make your models work in FS2. It converts them to .POF, adds data such as firing/docking points, and more.
