Ok i have some pretty good ideas for missions but not the skills(i am trying) so ill write missions or even campaigns for people who want me to(as long as im mentioned in the creditz etc). Best of all, i do this for free and such(donations are welcome) just pm me if you're interested in my mission writing skillz.

Basically you are saying that you can do all the easy/fun creative stuff while they do all the hard work. And you'll do it only for mention in the credits! How incredibly gracious of you. :p

its just that i have a crazy imagination and sometimes people have trouble thinking of a good solid mission or campaign so if they can do that, then they hopefully use me

So learn the skills. The community is happy to help you learn. :) Go play some FRED Academy missions, learn from the mistakes you see, make your own mission and don't repeat them. :)

FREDding isn't that difficult to learn. Hours to learn, lifetime to master stuff. :)

Like Kara says, just learn to FRED. As far as mission builders go it's the easiest I've seen.

There's a walkthrough in FRED that takes you step by step through building a fairly complex mission. It touches on all the areas that are really important (those that it ignores are generally very intuitive). Spend an hour or two doing that and you'll be ready to start trying your hand at FREDding.

I have a similar problem as you, incidentally: I have a near-constantly working imagination, and as such, I have several ideas that I think would make good stories for FS2. Currently I'm working on FREDding one of them. The problem is of course that my imagination is leaps and bounds ahead of me, and I can't possibly work fast enough to keep up! :)

FREDding your own missions is much more satisfying, believe me, and it's easier than it seems at first glance. Give it a shot.

May I suggest notepad or pen and paper? :D

People like writing missions and campaigns. It's fun - a lot more fun, I think, than FREDding them or UVMapping the models or bugtesting code. But we do all these things because we want our stories to be told, or stories that we believe are worthy of being told if you're helping someone else out with their campaign. I very much doubt you're going to find too many people who'll want you to take away the creative part of the process.

Seriously, do the walkthrough for FRED that came with FS2 if you don't know how to FRED (I haven't played To Hell and Back so I can't comment on that) and make a couple of minicampaigns. You'll be able to work many of your mission ideas into one or two stories I suspect, and your best one or two arcs will give you a broader base to work from. You can get your ideas out there, you just need to make a bit of effort.
