How about a text heading, like "News Briefing" or "Propaganda of the Day"?

You could move the NTF logo down to just above the commit button and below the CB text to differentiate it from the GTVA one.

No, this is not dead. But I'm moving abroad, so RL is keeping me quite busy nowadays.

Meanwhile, I've decided to go with WMC's idea (unless someone has a really good idea). I'd like to hear ideas on font / style / colour and text for the following interface screens:

• Campaign selection
• ChoosePilot
• CommandBrief
• F1 (what is this for? If it's for multiplayer, I'll drop it)
• HotKeys
• LoadMission
• OptionsDetail
• OptionsMain
• TechData
• TechShipData

If I forgot any (other than the loading screen and the red-alert, that's deliberate), please tell me.

Stick to the normal BankGothic Md BT font, but make it soil-like in colour.

Make the text more fancy...right now it's the only flat-looking thing on that screen. A little loving with plugins could go a long away.

The foreground color doesn't go with the blue background. But

That background would be well for a FS2 interface recolour to FS1.

Blue Planet's main hall doesn't have a GTVA logo if I recall correctly, but it wouldn't really suit NTF in my opinion.

Where did the BP one come from, anyway? Did Darius make it?

They where screenshots from cutscenes in the strategy game Supreme Commander. Darius also took the .ani heads from that game.

Put the wings on the NTF logo on an equal plane. It looks a bit weird at its current state.

I have no problems with the interface. Blue and yellow are the primary colours of the NTF logo.

That background would be well for a FS2 interface recolour to FS1.

I've been working on that. I'm looking for retail compatibility so there's a few kinks to be worked out, but it's coming soon.
