Alright, put the model folder in blueplanet/data/models, and what else? That didn't work on its own. I'm not entirely sure what these mysterious "table files" are...

Uhh.  Put the POF file in blueplanet/data/models.  Also put the maps (DDS) in blueplanet/data/maps.  For Blue Planet, you shouldn't need to do anything to the tables.

You will, the HTL Aurora is named aurora.pof, while on the tables it's something completely different, either change the model name to match the table or vice-versa.

Its fighter2r-01.pof or something. Just check BP's ship.tbl, rename, and replace.

It's fighterCW-02t, seemingly. Do we have to rename the DDS files as well?

Oh, can anybody recommend me a good idiot-compatible VP viewer? I used modelview to get that but it doesn't really seem very, shall we say, up-to-date.

If you just want to view and extract, I reccomend QuickVP.
It works like...winzip. except it doesn't handle adding stuff very well.

No, don't rename the DDS textures. :)
