Well I guess 'screens of pwnage' doesn't mean we have to be the ones dishing it out:


In the early days of Battlefield 2 - M. Crabtree was the AI equivillant of Rambo. I have feared him ever since.

In singleplayer as the commander I had my entire team capping a little courtyard flag. M. Crabtree wanders in and my team launches into a frenzied knife fight with him all at once. From the whilwind of my teammates bodies flying out of the mess and with my own efforts to shoot the devil unappreciated by the teammates I hit, Crabtree comes sprinting straight out at me and embeds his knife in my skull too before running back and finishing off the stragglers.

I have never-ever so thoroughly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory or been beaten by an 8-1 outnumbered opponent (human or otherwise) as I was in that little encounter. It was awesome.

Ya know, Forged Alliance really cleans up the UI. I don't like SupCom's UI cause its quite clunky, and kinda obstructs battlefield view. Forged Alliance fixed that really nicely.

Moments after, we got ambushed.

I've got forged alliance too. But i can't bear to live without General Grant. Plus i kinda prefer the SC vanilla interface.

A more translucent and less obtrusive UI is already available in one of the patches for the vanilla game.

I've been having some problems with sup com actually. I lost my CD key so I had to transfer the game over from my old HD along with some DLL files. It works fine, surprisingly enough, aside from the fact that I can't hear anything

Offtopic: I didn't like SupCom that much, it strayed too much from TA and the interface was clunky as hell. Why didn't they just stick with the normal TA interface?
