EDIT - or if you mean "don't say "waah, I know I guy" unless it's cheap" well whatever, you misinterpreted my saying printers are cooler rather than boasting. A person could boast that they know I guy who owns a Leer jet, but that doesn't mean that the cost of aviation fuel is going to be any cheaper. It costs what it costs, and there's no way around that. Or would you prefer I said "I know a guy who has a 3d printer and it's good because he's also a moron so he'll make models for people at a financial loss to himself, he also knows another guy who takes those printouts and turns them into molds for metal models and it's good beacuse he's a moron too and will also do things at a financial loss. So hurray, I know a guy who knows a guy and they're both idiots so I'm set up to make cheap models!" but no rather "I know a guy who works with a guy and through him you can turn your 3d model into a little metal ship or whatever you want but it'll cost this much and that's the way it is." Because it even costs something similar for the guy who OWNS the printer to make his own models.
