Set debugger??

I'm curious how I set the debugger for FRED?
I use the debug version and it stops working when I click OK to debug.
Just curious which debugger I need to use or where I should set it?

Umm, I not sure how to tell you this - Most of your modding problems have been faulty assumptions. A debugger may just lead you down more technically interesting but wrong paths.

Oh I'm no stranger to bad assumptions on my end  ;) 
I just wondered if there was something else I was missing about the debugger.
