Some kind of new project or an old one resurrected?

Almost. There was also that moderator badge (at least that's what I think it was :p) before the other one.

Look at that badge, it's about BSG...and the word Diaspora fits well...the remnants of the human species leave their homeworlds and escape from the Cylons...it makes sense...

I guess the Administration is creating badges for projects hosted in other FS fan sites. In that case I'm waiting for my Earth Defense one :P

Also, it could just mean they were too lazy to come up with their own logo... I mean, all three of the big factions in FS have had a 'diaspora' (if you take Petrarch's monologue as truth), and the Ancients might have had their own as well.

There's one, but in GW. This looks like an attempt to create badges for HLP members who work for mods elsewhere. Look at the ones who have this new badge - there are BtRL team members(and I admit there's someone else, though :eek:)...

The name Diaspora suggests the creation of the new mod...it sounds interesting...
