Im going to have to object in the stongest possible turms to AE's mention of InuYasha in this thread. InuYasha is IMHO Rumiko Takahashi's Ultimate Series. Though I'm annoyed that the Anime ended with no resolution, the ending to the Manga was far better than the ending of Ranma
1/2.

My next nomination: the Last two Episodes of Evangelion and then the End of Evangelion movie

Every power rangers series that doesn't have at least 2 of the original six as main characters. - Power Rangers started out good if cheesey in places, and jumped the shark (when changes were made after parents complained that the Lead villain was too evil). However, it was still half-way decent whilst it still had members the original team. Everything after Turbo was rape of the Super Sentai.
Bad Beetleborgs/Beetleborgs Metallics - Suffice to say that by making these two seasons Saban totally raped Jukou B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto. The japanese series was infinitly superior to the **** that was shown on US/UK channels
Masked Rider - Again Saban rapes yet another brilliant japanese TV show. This time the Kamen Rider series: Kamen Rider BLACK RX and the movies Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J
Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight. - Wont start till next year. BUT going by the track record for American adaptations of the Tokusatsu series; this will a complete rape of Kamen Rider Ryuki
Basically almost everything by Saban except VR Troopers and MMPR S1-3
VR Troopers - Actually this was pretty decent. The premise was far better than power rangers. And it had the potential to be better than power rangers, with a far darker atmosphere. Alas Saban ruined it with tackey humour (Percy and Jeb the Talking Dog) and bad voice acting for the villains. However, for an amalgam of Choujinki Metalder, Jiku Senshi Speilban and Uchuu Keiji Shaider it was pretty good.

This is all with out mentioning the glaringly obvious costume differences between the Japanese footage and American Footage. Green Ranger's Armour springs to mind as the most obvious. You be the Judges
