Hey, all. I was just wondering what kinds of objects do most people on HLP hug when they sleep. This question came into my head after I arranged my beddings this morning and mused about changing from hugging a bolster to hugging two pillows when I move to my new house next Thursday.

Usually, the girlfriend. But when one of us is sick we sleep apart, so then it's the teddy bear (actually, a puma, private joke) she gave me over a year ago and my old old security blanket from when I was about 5 at the same time.

I've found I literally can't sleep unless I have something to cuddle with.

If my girlfriend's not around, it's usually me kind of half-holding a pillow.  I never liked teddy bears as a kid.

I usually end up with a large part of either the pillow or the blanket between my arms and legs, while curled up

When I was young, I would fall asleep with a bolster and blanket, and wake up with both on the floor. =/

I actually have the security blanket from when I was 1...I don't cuddle with it though. I sleep ON it like a pillow cover because the fabric is so soft.

I grab a pillow or I bunch up the comforter other than that.

Am I the only one who's really surprised that people cling to things other than their mates when they're sleeping?

I've never clung to anything while sleeping, except for my teddy bear a couple of times when i was little, although that usually annoyed me instead of helped me sleep.

Quite a random topic but, . . . .it depends on where i am to be honest. Anything from a pillow to whichever female co-occupies my current place of slumber.
