If this wasn't GenDisc this would probably have been locked already.  It sounds like you know what you need to do in order to play now, are you guys just arguing for the sake of it, or do you still need any help Melkor?  Much to our chagrin, there seem to be places to find it if you really don't want to pay for it.  However, if you did take the effort to buy it legally, you'd be directly helping out the license owners, Interplay, as I believe GOG is the only true retailer for it at the moment.  Anyone else is just selling used copies that Interplay isn't reimbursed for any more.  But no one can stop you, we'd still rather have you playing it free than not playing it at all.

Oh really so klet's see FS2 cost about an arm and a leg an another arm and a leg for me when i can find it. The last sticker price was about 28 Euro's which is what about 35-40 $ ! Get real im not spending that amount of money AGAIN on FS2 !

Bought it once exploded into my CD-ROM got it from the onlyne installer and there it shalremain Il save it on multiple copies of DVD's just to make sure. But i will NOT buy FS2 any time soon.

I'm too strapped for chash and as long as i can play FS2 and all these wonderfull mod's for free i see no reason to pay for the original game .

Should theevent happen when my HD will break and all the DVD's then il get if off the net and i still wont pay for it unless i can affod it.

I did my part payd for the game played it and loved it. Let someone else do its part.

Thats Right, It costs me about £22 which is about $43 approx, thats if i can find it, I still have the problem that it is unavailable anywhere unless I am willing to put loads of time and effort into it, but I probably will eventually find a way to get it

Well the problem is that when i found FS2 on sale it was a computer games and software shop some 6 hours train ride.


Ad to the price of the game the price of 2 train tickets and see how much that costs you ! Il just say this the total price raises by about 50% !

No they did not ship out ia mail or courier like that . don't really know why tough......

anyway mail taxes cost a bit so.......5 or 6 $ for FS2 ?? man if i had that available for me id buy 10 or 20 copies of the game and sold them and 3 times the price get  huge profit margin and support the game and best of all it would be cheaper then that gameshop i mentioned so i ould stick it to them.

As we've been trying to say, buying from Good Old Games is legal. Very legal. That is exactly why we direct FreeSpace2-less people to their direction. So that they wouldn't have to download FreeSpace 2 illegally or buy it at extremely hihg prices from eBay.

No one will post links to illegal downloads, under the penalty of immediate ban. If you are going to buy FS2 from GOG, excellent. Thank you.
