Alpha 1 is only as godlike as the cybernetic entity controlling him. He could be as skilled as a cross-eyed child, or a hyperexited gamer. Next minute, he's an ace who can drop Shivans (Who are supposed to be "Destroyers" but still manage to get obliterated.) and NTF alike.


That brings a point. Your team of 5-15 ships can eliminate a virtually endless tide of fighters. And yet we still fear them. Well, Alpha 1 can wade through Shivans. Wingmates get turned to fodder. And you only hear news of defeats. Then you go and save them, winning the day.

AND NOBODY EVER COMES TO YOUR RESCUE. You'd think that you would get a complimentary bodyguard, or SOMETHING to protect you.

What do you mean? Based on what i see in mission, the intelligence of the GTVA Brass is beyond preserving. Heck, its so far gone that it isnt even worth saving. the kindest thing that can be done to the Brass' intelligence is to put it down.
