At the moment we can show static images as shown in JAD 3 (to be continued etc) how much of a stretch would it be to allow animated images like DDS using EFF files?
 
Also would it be an issue to have a "play once / repeat" flag in the sexp?

Don't know anything about the first one but how does the play once/repeat thing differ any from the current repeat count code?

I have no  idea as i don't code just so i'm clear on the current situation, let's say i've a 120 frame dds file i want to play once then stop. That'd work?

Isn't the show-subtitle SEXP already compatible with ANI files?

I've not managed to try an .Ani file yet and wondered if the new build had added the capability.

Why not try it and then ask?

That said, I don't remember this being added, or in testing, so I guess it's not in there.
