Now if anyone did that in a country ruled by an evil warlord or bloodthirsty dictator (like North Korea, or former Soviet Russia under Stalin), none of the reporters would be alive today, and we'd even never know about the incident.

I love the fact that they blew up the shoes.

Maximum Sentence of 15 years for aggression towards a President. Wisdom suggests a slap on the wrist, it would be about the best PR move that the US could make, and, I suspect, the eventual outcome. This, to my mind, really is a mountain/molehill conversion.

I thought about that. To be fair, many Musilims in Indonesia have no problem drinking alcohol. Iraq might be a bit more by the book about that
