Let's be fair, Steak. I trimmed out the other stuff, like:
  • Teach untrained monkey to use vi
  • Teach untrained monkey that surfing the net as root is a Bad Thing
  • Teach untrained monkey that an MCSE cert means less than nothing when it comes to a Unix box
  • Teach untrained monkey that pretty windows are less important than making things work
  • Writing scripts to help prevent untrained monkey from bollixing up the whole operation
  • Fix things that the untrained monkey bollixed up
  • Find job for when company decides the untrained monkey costs less than me and can do my job, even if untrained


One should not be required to define one's job in terms of an untrained monkey.
