Anyone know where I can find some terran/vasuden looking ships? Need them as a example of what I'm going to Model.

Look in the Hard Light or Freespace forums for concept art, or post something in Hard Light. Most people will jump at the chance to have a ship they made modelled

No Uknown target wants me to model a terran/vasuden ship. So I wnated an example to go by, on the basic design features of them both.

Look at the V concepts...pick one you like, then try and draw it from memory.  Take that sketch, and try and figure out the overall shape, and the outstanding features - and try to draw it again, except using you own details to try and iomprove on it.  Now try and model it - you should end up with something that looks Vasudan, but is largely your own ideas.

Or, just copy the V concepts.

Looks like it's me to the rescue...
1)First, get VPView from http://www.descent-freespace.com
2)Next, install it.
3)Using VPView, browse to your Freespace 1 directory, then to the "Data" folder, then open "Freespace.vp"
4)On the left side of your screen you should see the various directories in the file. Click "Interface", then scroll down until you see CrIm01.PCX
5)Depending on the version you got, you may or may not see a preview of the picture in the lower-left corner. If it satisfies you, then just go through the rest of the CrIm##.PCX pictures.

6)If you want to get all the credits images out of the VP, click "Crim01.PCX", scroll down to "CrIm55.PCX", hold shift and click on it.
7)Then hit "Extract to Dir" and select a directory of your choice.
8)Open the PCX files using your favorite view (Paint, IrfanView, whatever)

Try ripping off other designs- loosley of course. There's enough sci-fi out there that practically any ship design you can imagine has been done somewhere anyway. And the ones nobody would normally imagine I've declared a monopoly on.

Thanx. But I know how to work VPView, Just wanted to make sure that FS1 had it cuz you guy's mostly talk FS2.
