Okay, the idea's been suggested by some people, and so here's the deal: a Survivor contest. We'd make a new forum for it (like Node Wars). Everyone who wants to can participate, but you have to enter at the beginning. People are voted off, until you get the ultimate HLP SURVIVOR. There are challenges (still fleshing this bit out in my head), and public debates where people get to voice their opinions before the voting as to who they think should be voted off (and why others should agree). And of course, there will be offline scheming through the PM system.

We could combine a lot of elements from gameshows like the Weakest Link into this.

So, ideas?

I thought of that too. But I thought of the poor children, scarred by seeing our sickly faces on the 'Net... so I thought I'd shy away from that.

Witness as countless geeks struggle for dominance on a barren, deserted forum.

Watch them suffer, fighting against their own minds and bodies to accomplish impossible challenges, face each other in psychological matches, or trip over and fall on the cold hard floor as they try to get through inhuman tests of skill and prowess.

The challenge has begun. Only one will survive.
