C914 was working on a Cain/Lilith model some time back.  He's long since gone, but I recall one detail from his model that you may want to include on this one.  He added little teeth-like extensions on the inner-facing sides of the forward booms, extending from the triangular faces.

My take is that the Lilith/Cain should look the same at first glance to all but the trained I, different weapons and degree of hull armor should be enough. Regarding the Pentagonal missile launcher I think that maybe you should look at the wider area and go with making the whole area look like an eye
