I have been away for over one month, two or three times, without any warning. I didn't die, aliens didn't kidnap me, etc. etc.

My PC died. Dekker clearly stated that he would have been away for over a month, so where's the problem? And, again:

the thing is (with the greatest respect mobius ) if you went missing for 2 years there wouldnt be a post like this


this is sarcasm and as decker is a mod here in this section of the forum it is addressed at him in some way

and as decker said he was going to be gone for one month i agree but his last post which fell within that period of abscence cleary suggests that he will be here in one form or another within that alotted time frame

That's standard activity for me anyway.

So here's my theory:

Dekker made a resolution to quit drinking for new years.  He made it until just after that post on the second when the alcohol from New Years eve wore off and he just couldn't take it any more and took off out the door to go on a bender for several days.  In the process of beer goggling he met a female (we can only hope it was female) and got married.  Waking up to see what he just married he had a relapse of the sober fit and took off on another bender.  He ran into a bunch of aliens and abducted them forcing them to get him the heck off this planet..........
