Samsung D900i got me interested. It seems to be better than average quality basic phone, which just about fits my needs.
One of my friends at my workplace has bought a new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The touchscreen is nifty and it has WLAN and GPS among other things. Features that I won't be needing daily, or even monthly but very useful once there's need for them. The price though is almost three times as much as D900i. Not only that but the Nokia is very new, who knows what bugs it has. Durability of the 5800 is yet another question.
It's a tough decision. To get a cheaper D900i with the basic features. Or to get 5800 with nifty features that may be useful, but rarely. The GPS especially has me interested, at least I would have access to GPS should I need it.
Edit: On my way home from work I decided to get the 5800. What the heck, shouldn't at least disappoint as far as features go.
