There is still all of that.  "Enemy has a radar lock!" "Garuda 1, Fox 3!" "I see damage on your wing."

There is definitely story in AC6.  Its not deep with character development but it does present lots of perspectives. Makes it allot more than just a shooter...

Yeah, that one. It ran on my PS1 but only in black-and-white, it was a bit meh but the game, overall, was enjoyable. :)

I had that with some PS1 aqnd Xbox games. I think it was a problem with a scart lead or some such. Does it have subtitles though ?

I've played one mission of AC4, beaten AC6 (but I don't own it) and I own Zero, AC5, and ACX. 5 and Zero are my favorite games out of the five AC games I've played. AC6 has terrible writing and voice acting (like that guy in the fortress mission with the tunnels), but it's fun as hell. ACX was actually a bit of a disappointment. The story is blah'er than AC6 and I hate Crux.
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios

I'll have to replay Ragno Fortress I can't remember the voice acting in it :D   Though I thought the parting speech from the Estovakian ace during the retaking of Gracemeria to be one of the most awkward parts of the script.

The whole script is awkward.  I take it the rest of the series is not quite like that?  I figured it was something lost in translation.

AC6 is the only one that seems to have the crappy dialogue.

Happened to me, Microsoft took care of it. Unfortunately, t'is a common issue with pre-07 manufactured boxes.
