Hi,

I just bought Logitech Force 3D Pro joystick and I have trouble getting the force feedback working. For some strange reason all the force effect go to my Rumblepad 2 instead of the joystick. I have tried setting the default controller to different devices but the problem does not go away. Only way to get the force effect from joystic is to remove the pad from computer, but I would hate to have to do that every time I play FS2.
I have the latest Logitech profiler installed and I use Vista-32.
Any suggestions?

I would like to be of help, but the only thing I can think of is unplugging the rumblepad, which as you say is time consuming. Have you tried disabling the FF on your rumblepad with both controllers plugged in?

I haven't tried doing that from the drivers but at least using the FF disable button on the pad doesn't help.

I guess that at least for now I have to settle unplugging the pad when playing

Control Panel  ->Gaming Controllers -> Advanced -> Preferred device

Ensure this is your FF joystick. My bet is that it's set to the rumble pad.

No changing that doesn't help at all unfortunately. That was the first thing I tried.

Get a usb extender for the rumble pad so you don't have to unplug the thing from the back. (unless you already do in which case you are possibly the laziest person alive.)

i second the ( with a huge respect and an attempt at being polite) getting of your ass and unplugging the rumble pad , also please realise your going to have to turn everything up to the 150% in the settings to get a force feedback effect on thee joystick......

but seriously, that's what i do and besides, force feedback in fs isn't worth ****.
