Earth Defense Team presents maps for classic Vasudan bomber GVB Petbe. They're made by FreeSpaceking and since we decided to get a rid of this bomber in ED it's all for you.

That thing reminds me of an insectoid/shivan rather than a Vasudan Ship, but hey, it looks alright  :P

I like the green glow.  Is it mostly a transparent layer with a green outer glow psd?

If you look closely, that entire thing was a hack. Shiv just hacked the Pegasus to use the Petbe model so he could get a quick picture. Really the Petbe should have a yellow thruster theme.

Having checked this model against others such as the Ezechiel, Herc etc, I think this should be a fighter as it's too small in my opinion to be a bomber. if it could be made larger by 1/3, then yeah we got a good Vasudan Bomber here.  :yes:

Woot, now it looks like something Terran the Shivans seemed to have picked up on one of their Annihalation sprees and repainted.

Placed next to a Terran fighter, this Bomber is not too big. I tried to enlarge the model to Bomber size in the .pof editor and was able too. I still had to redo the guns, missiles etc but I got it all...or so I thought as something must have went wrong as I cannot see it in FRED2 at all. I tried it over several times and still get nothing in FRED2.  :wtf:

Serious question for once: Is anyone actually interested in that shivan-esque recolour? If so I can put it up somewhere. Screenshot was taken using PCS2, haven't tested in-game yet.

I'm sure I could use it, in fact if you check the missions n campaigns board I could probably use it for that campaign I released a teaser/trailer for.
