The outline is 14 pages and the paper will probably end up as long as my last one, but it's much better organized and written now.

I always get bad grades on those (well, a bad grade for me is a  B+, so...). I'm not good at them, so i don't care about them, which sort-of snowballs into a bad grade...

I can't find a frakking Tauros. I know there's only a 2% chance of getting one with the Poke Radar on Pearl (On Diamond the situation is reversed, Miltank is 2% and Tauros is 20%) but still. Finding Nidorina (The other 2% one) was easy! I think the Miltank are taking all the Tauros for themselves and making more Miltank.

I really had to meditate about this for a while, and yes, it actually is so that if you use those instead of the dot, it means something else. "x" is apparently the cross product at least, but I don't recall "*". Could have been something to Fourier transforms, convolutions or combined functions. I don't remember anymore.
