Are you taking any AP classes? Honors classes? Without those, a 4.0 is meaningless (and rather easy to get).

Agreed. I took the hard courses in school. I got lower grades, but at least I felt that I had earned them.

Welcome to high school. Where I can sleep in every single class, still get a 4.0, and still be able to tutor the tutors.
