Adjust the circling distance that Cap Ships maintain when in combat - How?
Hi all,

I'm talking about when two cap ships meet and they close in on each other and circle like fighters, instead of standing off and using their beams (which have no extra effect from being closer).

Is this adjustable? or even better, preventable (without using events)?

Thanks,
BH

It's not a good thing, because capships ordered to attack each other start circling in a weird way.

In order to have control on cpaship battles, use waypoints and the cap-waypoint-speed SEXP. That enables  to "script" their movements and relents them in case they're too fast to show a good side-to-side combat.
