It never first occured to me that this ship even had dual turrets in the first place, but the fact that it has these two completely out-of-place guns on random mounts is a total mind****.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, the one on the Faustus could be a turret for combat testing fighter weapons. As for the AWACS vessels, everything is better than those TTWs. Just my ideas.

but it sorta makes sense. Disabling a ship makes it a easy target for your gunners, no?

The reason I highlighted the one Subach on the Charybdis was beacuse just that, it has two different weapons on the same turret.

you know, getting rid of testing weapons, cut-content weapons and so forth

LOL, I haven't looked through the entire list, I just merely ran into the Charybdis while skimming down to find the Orion so I haven't seen the Bakha's until now.

I wonder if that'll work now...

Lots of mistakes in the tables.  I can only assume that they did a quick and dirty job making some of the early tables ...probably converted from Descent: FreeSpace into FS2 format...and along the way they did allot of text/replace and stuff ended up like they are now.

Uhm...not IIRC.
It's only got three turrets off the centerline, and they're the same on both sides (1 SGreen, 1 AAAf, 1 Standard Flak each).
Everything else is mounted on the top or bottom, in single-weapon multiparts.

iirc if you do not give a ship primary cargo space it will be unable to load a primary weapon that takes up space.

If you don't set the cargo space, it defaults as 1.
