I'm currently working on a mod that will rely heavily on blob turrets - like the Terran Turret - to defend against fighters and bombers. I started developing the mod in 3.6.9. and optimized two "X number of fighters and bombers attack a cruiser"-type missions with it. When I switched over to 3.6.10. and tested those missions again, I noticed that instead of suffering heavy casualties, the fighters managed to take down the cruisers with suffering minimal damage. I looked into it and realized that the cruisers don't use their weapons at all. When I removed the "Huge" flag from the Terran Turret, the missions have gotten much harder.
Did anyone touch the "Huge" flag between 3.6.9. and 3.6.10.?
[EDIT]Sorry. I realized that I was asking a stupid question. Not even 3.6.9. lets "Huge" weapons target fighters. Looks like I added the "Huge" flag to the Terran Turret myself some time after I switched to 3.6.10. Moderators can delete or lock this thread, as it no longer serves any purpose.
