So, I know we went through this a while ago, but instead of dredging the old thread up I thought I'd do it here:

Is anyone interested in an HLP Perth?

I'm not opposed. As long as I'm not working, I'll go along to any perth meetup. An australiawide one might be more difficult though.

Sure, count me in for Perth. If I'm free, I'll pop along.

I'd probably be refused entry to any bars/clubs/venues

Due to both my age and "Bad Record" with some of the places up there. As soon as you walk in there with more than 5 people who dress like 50 Cent/Drapht look-a-likes they seem to think you're up to something. They're right for the most part as well which doesn't help.

Love to come. If it was on the other side of the bloody continent. Goddamn WA.

Sydney bars are better, anyways. *Grumble*

Well, still, 3 isn't bad - it's more HLPers than I would have expected in Perth. What's the most accessible spot for everyone? I live about five minutes from Curtin uni, and work/study there - anyone else nearby? Alternately, a central point, say somewhere in the city, might be better?

Four (4)!
Darius, DilmahG, portej05 and BlackWolf

I live up in Mundaring area, and go to UWA just about every day. I work in West Perth.
Somewhere DilmahG can go as well would probably be a good idea for a first meetup.

I reckon in the city is a good idea - it's close to everything, and the train station/busports are dead centre (well, almost)

I'm about five minutes from Curtin Uni too so I can get to most places if need be.

City sounds good.

City's good for me as well. I'm usually there most of the time on the weekends anyway so it isn't a huge issue for me going there.

OK, so when and where? Where's good for a non boozy meetup in the city? Some cafe or something somewhere I suppose? And days - weekends I guess? This weekend? Next? When's everyone free?

I'm free all weekends usually, if not I can still find a way around whatever I'm doing

*bump*
There's the Merchant along Murray, there's the Borders Gloria Jeans, there's the zoo (probably a bit expensive and big though), there's that juice place on hay st, there's the sushi place near the woolworths on Murray, there's Northbridge, forrest place.
We can either do dinner or coffee or something like that.

Yeah I can do coffee, if its dinner my parents might start asking questions. As long as it's near/in the city I can do it.

Alrighty, coffee it is (at least, this first time round).

Hmmmm, I have no idea. The only place I go to get food in the city is Red Rooster next to that shopping mall near the train station. That's also because I'm a cheap bastard :P

God it's been ages since I've been to the zoo, that sushi place on Murray I could definitely do. I've seen that coffee place before, but I'll have to find it again though
I can't remember the Merchant on Murray but I've seen one on Beaufort street. Actually I think I could make all those places with enough notice.

Downside being I don't think I can get out of the house next weekend, unless it's the weekend after.

Sydney, if I remember right.

I'll be in Narrogin next week from tomorrow, and Margaret River that weekend. So..any time after that?

How does the weekend of the 29th sound?
