Uhm... i'm writing something, and I need to know, what's the term for the way a dog's rear leg is? How theres 2 joints instead of 1?

just a little adition a dogs leg has three joints , hip knee and ankle amazingly just like us................., tis is not counting the toe joints

Hind legs, they're hind legs, that's all! The knee area is called a hock, they also have vestigial claws called dewclaws, but there is no special name for the hind legs of a dog.

There is, however, an adjective for how they walk on their toes like that, but it I can't remember it. Turnsky, or anyone else well versed in er... 'anthro' art could probably tell you.

IIRC, this describes joint structure in bird and bird-like. It might describe dogs too...
