All time favourite missions? *Potential Spoilers
I am sure that this has come up before. but what is you guys' all time favourite mission and why?

Mine is the Second to Last mission (forgotten it's name) in Blue Planet: Age of Aquarius

Reasons:
Fantastic mission - basically an uber escourt mission in the middle, with wave after wave of Shivan fighters and bombers, in the middle of a battle between 2 of the biggest ships ever seen in FS outside of Inferno (AFAIK). It is one of the most intense missions i've ever played. The only other ones that are that intense  are the final proper mission in S:AH chapter 4 and the second to last mission in INFR1.

Very Challenging even on Very Easy difficulty. Suffice to say that on Insane lvl it will be a f***ing slaughter house. Hell even using cheats to make myself invincible and have unlimited secondaries it's still a challenge to get all allies through.

Fantastic Level music - It's Harkonnen Force from "Emperor: Battle for Dune" for Kami-sama's sake. Anthing that uses David Akenstone's Harkonnen soundtrack from that game is going to be awesome

Clash Of The Titans from FS1.

For me, it's the perfect level for Squadron Leaders.  Do you chose to have a wing of bombers destroy the Tantalus before it can launch the bombers, or do you chose to let The Bastion take the Tantalus and handle the fighters and bombers yourself.  Both have their strong points and weak points.

However, I absolutly detest flying in SubSpace.  SubSpace missions make me feel nausous.
I reject your reality and substitute my own, hence my existance on the Galatea!

I'm guessing your least favourite mission is Doomsday (FS1)

OR WAS HE?!
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

OR WAS HE?!

since i stand a good chance of meeting him next friday (20th) unless there is a change of plans, i'll assume he survived and was time warped to the present day...

But my all time favourite missions are these uber escort missions where wave after wave of enemy fighters come after you.

Clash of the Titans I and II, Apocalypse, Forced Entry from BP, the ones i mentioned in my first post

Apocalypse for me... On higher difficulties the mission is absolute hell, and very believable.. Though I'm reduced to a crisp most of the time that i play it, i enjoy it every time.

'Nemesis' from INFR1. It was awesome even on the twentieth retry.
'Memento Mori' from Derelict. Donno, maybe the name of the mission just stuck to me...
there's a few more that I can't quite recall off the top of my head...

Got several favourite missions . . .

- "Killer Rabbit" from Derelict. Absolutely loved every moment of totally annihilating the two cargo depots even if some explosions were scripted or not.

- Certainly "He Who Rides the Tiger" from ST:R. The best from that campaign IMO.

- "First Aberrations" from DEM. Hilariously funny coupled with some good fighting in there as well.

Re: All time favourite missions? *Potential Spoilers
Their Finest Hour had potential, but sadly [V] did thrash a large part of the mission for God knows what reasons (money, likely!)

Otherwise my favorite would have to be... ehm... Dunkerque? I just love lobbing dual trebuchets at enemy bombers from +4 clicks...
Frankly I believe that over half my kills during my last replay of the entire campaign were from missiles and rockets - Very effective if you know how to use them, especially in dogfights!

Some of my favorites where from BP... can't single them out now, and I'm planning on replaying several campaigns, so I'll come back later.

My favorites are:

Forced Entry (Blue Planet)
The mission in Derelict where the Nyarlathotep wakes up (amazingly awesome "OH SH*T" moment)
Aaaand the single greatest mission ever?

*drumroll*

JAD2, where the mission starts with an insane YMCA lightshow which gets smashed to pieces by Derek Smart.
