Annoying voice

I've got some anoying computerised voice talking all the time, how can I get rid of it. He pops up and starts talking all the lines electronically, i think it would be heaps better without voice than with such a horrible computer.

Go to your Launcher-->Speech Tab. Uncheck Techroom, Briefings, and Ingame to get rid of it.

Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Remember you can always turn it back on if you don't want to read. Alternatively, you can use a 3.6.10 build and forget computerized speech altogether. :lol:

That won't always work. It depends on who compiles the build.

On a Mac, there is no such thing as font distortion or text-to-speech recognition when it comes to FS2_Open.

That won't always work. It depends on who compiles the build.

Well in my experience, it's been a while since we've had voice in a nightly build

There are different builds apart from the Nightly's that are classified as 3.6.10.

I prefer Sam to Anna, though. He sounds funny while singing 'Burn, baby, burn!'
