Uh, redsniper, I thought Tur(k)ey's Installer was broken...
It is. Mediavps must be downloaded seperately.

It doesn't download 3.6.10 media VPs? I seem to remember there was a problem with it downloading corrupted VPs, but I thought that was fixed.

Chill out, It's only the mediaVPs. Everything else is fine.

Also, this is getting way off topic.

ISTJ

Seems fairly accurate to me, but the last 2 paragraphs in the detailed description are scary  :shaking:

"Under stress, ISTJs may fall into "catastrophe mode", where they see nothing but all of the possibilities of what could go wrong. They will berate themselves for things which they should have done differently, or duties which they failed to perform. They will lose their ability to see things calmly and reasonably, and will depress themselves with their visions of doom.

In general, the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, the ISTJ has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving their chosen goals - whatever they may be. "

I seem to be in catastrophe mode far too often, and those visions of doom are making me doubt life, especially considering I get my mainly with the support of online friends, real life ones being non-existent.  >.<

I often find that the internet is a mask you can hide behind, no one knows who you really are so they can't judge you. In here, I crack jokes and get mischievous sometimes, I enjoy my time online; but in real life you can't get a word out of me, and I'm fairly depressing to be around :|
So that contradicts the potential I could have according to the last paragraph, and that annoys me.

Not a bit like me, I'm not the action type, certainly not fearless. Maybe because I rushed through it a bit because I'm in work.

Complete opposite, my mind keeps screaming "COOL! CALM! COLLECTED!" whenever something happens. People who pin "Catastrophe Mode" to their shoulders and tell us all about how what we're doing is going to turn to **** (I didn't say you did....certain people in my life) tend to annoy the **** out of me.

And do you find that assessment to be very characteristic of your own personality, especially actions and reactions towards others? I don't think I said it before, but when I did this test initially a few years back, it reminded me that I'm a natural leader, and that the best way to get something done was to control it myself. I knew before that I'd be introverted, but that's the only aspect that I knew. My methods all existed and were commonly used, though the interesting is that the occasional teacher will "catch" me. My methods for taking a test, for example, are always odd, and when I decently know the subject they're brutally effective.  I don't know--it seems a method restricted to INTJs. It's to flip the test over and work backwards. In quite a few classes, you start backwards and I manage to finish it in a fraction the time and with a noticeably higher grade than my peers, who usually take 25% longer and grade 5-10 points lower. The funny thing is teachers always used to try to "catch" me, by making me sign my name and the time that I finish, as if I did poorly it'd be my fault for taking so little time. Wasn't the perfect method at doing everything, but it's my favorite.

I used to do test papers in reverse myself, but that was on the recommendation of a teacher when my lethargic writing speed meant that I could never finish a paper on time. I eventually stopped after a while and did test papers the normal way.

Considering the usual test format, simple conceptual questions first and detailed solve-the-problem-and-show-your-work questions last, it isn't a bad idea at all to work tests backwards.  The questions worth the most points are almost always the detailed problems.  It is also the only part of the test where partial credit is even a possibility.  You cannot get partial credit on true/false or multiple guess, and you'd really have to argue the point for partial credit on short answer problems.

Besides, once you work a few detailed problems to warm up, the conceptual short answer questions usually flow a lot more easily.  The hardest lesson I had to learn about test taking is that you absolutely must NOT force yourself to go in linear order, start-to-finish.  If you do that and you ever get stuck, you're screwed.  Not going in straight linear order is very much against my natural personality, but I do much better when I make myself just keep going and come back to problems that I couldn't get the first time once everything else on the test is done.

That's 'regular' me. I have 3 personalities, that one, which i'm usually in, my 'laugh everything off, take insults in my stride, and generally make others laugh at my own expense', and my 'keep the world at arms length by being cynical'.

On a side note, I have a deep seated hatred of human beings. In general. I occasionally ignore it.
