ohh I saw this on Discovery last week in one of their advances shows, awesome stuff they are getting but those braincells will keep dying so they 'll plug a entire body next?? somewhat freaky just thinking about it...

Same show the cold fusion was on. 
No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes. -Zathras

Same show the cold fusion was on. 

I found that plasma - energy power plant that used as fuel garbage the most interesting thing.. wait was it broadcasted in that show also, can't remember.

This wasn't the same Discovery show that cited 'stealing from aliens' (I kid you not) as the most reliable way to attain anti-matter, was it?

No this one only does real stuff that is being worked on like power from algae, humanoid robots,  flying cars, energy from waves, etc.  It's called Brink and it's about technology that either exists and isn't useful yet or is just on the horizon.
