well then I suppose we have a different view on a fairly fundamental point.
enjoy city 17, I hear it's safer there, so you should enjoy it.

Don't worry, I'll have more room when you reject your citizenship and leave the country

(which I'm sure you're doing right now? Staying up late to do the paperwork?)

Edit - You're a US citizen, on US soil. You have to follow US law.

don't date negros in 1956, it's against the law.

but other than that, I'm not sure what you are getting at so I'm not sure how to further respond.

You asked if I was owned by the government. Clearly the answer is no. They do not "own" me.

However, as a US citizen, and living on US soil, I am bound to follow the laws they lay out.

We elect people as representatives to pass laws and judge laws. Any system removed from government or people's power is even less likely to be looking out for your liberty or freedom.

Vaccines?
...
Flouride my friends. Wonder why we're so fond of putting it in our water.

Mind control, obviously.

Clearly you did no digging on the matter. *sigh*
Not mind control you I was going to say idiot but Kara would've banned me since he likes being a little dictator

So they're putting it in the water to... kill us? In a massive plan to exert control over our corpses?  :wtf:

I vote for people who deregulate things.
I vote for people who will remove drug laws, I vote fore people who will not make it harder to ow a gun, I vote for people who will allow gay marage, I vote for people who will reduce the size and scope and invacivenes of the government.

I am not above going to jail if there is a law on the books being enforced that I think goes against what the government is there for.

also every page of wikipedia is completely unreliable for anything, if a page to wikipedia is posted I must remind everyone of this fact without checking to see if said page has these features because by virtue of checking I imply that some pages of the wikipedia might not be 100% bull****.(@portej05)
I read the article, did not see what the **** he was talking about, seemed like a decent if random wikipedia article, high levels of fluoride can kill you /*shock*/.

And I'm glad you do. But minority protection doesn't include things like vaccinations.

Until it's repealed or struck down, you are obligated to follow. So in that sense, you are "owned" by the government.

Yeah, I know it's not. But it seems to me that unless you've got a wikipedia link these days, nobody takes you seriously. Ironic, I know.

@Blue Lion A weakened population is easier to control. Why the hell else would we be putting this stuff in our water? To my knowledge it has no health benefits at all. I think brushing twice a day is more than enough.

Edit: Damn you people argue fast. "What the **** I am talking about" is that we put this stuff in bottled water and tap water which people drink regularly. Do you really think prolonged consumption of the stuff is a good idea?

Weak physically?

Does the government come around to your house and push you around?

"Hey, who wants more freedom? If you want more rights stop hitting yourself. Come on, don't you want more rights? Well stop hitting yourself!"

Well, you managed to get a laugh out of me, I admit. But yes, of course weak physically. The Nazis did it.

The Nazis put flouride in the water to weaken the populace to control them?

It wasn't nationalism, the post war depression or other things... it was flouride?

Flouride caused the Holocaust?  :wtf:

You tell me they use flouride to make us compliant, like the Nazis did.

Then you tell me they used other things with flouride. I'd like to know what those things are. Because I have the sneaking suspicion you could do the same without the flouride.

Vaccines are necessary.

We're all very lucky to have been born into a time when there are no major pandemics in the world.  My dad and mom lived through the polio epidemic, my mom has a dime sized scar on her arm where they administered the injection that saved her life.  That was 50 years ago.  Do not pretend that you have not and continue to not benefit from the vaccinations you received as a child.  They saved you from mumps, measles and a variety of other diseases that disfigured and cause such things as brain and nerve damage in generations previous.

There is only one major disease that hasn't had a vaccine successfully developed for it and it kills thousands every year.  In fact, on the continent of Africa, it's in the top 3 causes of death.  Malaria.  Don't you think the people in areas stricken with this disease beg for a vaccine were if available?  Do you not think that it wouldn't be deployed in mass amounts because some nutjob with too much time on his hands is complaining about possible side effects?

We are all very lucky to be born into a world with vaccines.

Fluoride, too, is quite handy.  Trace amounts added to the water supply act to passively reinforce the enamel on your teeth making it harder and more resistant to damage.  If you want to complain about chems in the water, I suggest you pick something that is present in larger quantity.  Like, say, chlorine.  Take the chlorine out and it's Montezuma's Revenge for everyone!

All I'm saying is don't read bad things into stuff that is innocuous at best and mildly annoying at worst.

Also, take a tour of your local water treatment plant, it's really amazing how they clean and sterilize the water as it comes in from the river/lake/ect.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

Actually wikipedia is very reliable, especially the well sourced articles. Of course, for more detailed insight the sources listed in Wikipedia and just searching scholar.google.com often yield excellent sources.
