Re: UEFA Champions League
I would love to go to a match, but unfortunately there's an ocean in the way :( I've seen some Mexican soccer games though which are good fun. Great fans

I still like hockey games more though. (It's a common Canadian genetic trait, I suspect)

Re: UEFA Champions League
I deliberately didn't watch the Chelsea-Liverpool game as previous ties between these them, especially in the champions league, have bored me to tears. Decided to watch what i thought would have been the most entertaining tie of the round, Bayern Munich-Barcelona. It would have been at least if it hadn't been for the score in the first leg. Bloody typical that i miss all the good ****!  :hopping:

Re: UEFA Champions League
yeah you mist the best match of the week jeje

strange no one cares about this kind of thing, particulary looking at the number of visits HLP has on the european continent.

Re: UEFA Champions League
Well, the slice of the population you're dealing with here tends to care very little about sports. :nervous:

I guess I'm an exception in that regard.

I usually wouldn't watch a league match but this one caught my eye and I ended up watching the last 30 minutes so I got to see all the interesting stuff. :)

Re: UEFA Champions League
I'm just hoping that there will be a Bareclona-Man Utd final. Don't support Man Utd before anyone asks but i think that would be a highly entertaining match with two teams who play the beautiful game the way it was meant to be played. Barcelona are especially a joy to watch. Wish my team was more like that!

Re: UEFA Champions League
so you bet on Barcelona for the finals and the winner of the cup?? most of the people feel that way but I would really think it through... My guess is Porto-Barcelona for the finals but hey.. who knows??

Re: UEFA Champions League
Bearing in mind that i haven't seen any of the scores for tonight's matches, if Porto do put Man Utd out i don't think they'll reach the final. I suppose of the teams left in the competion Barca are the ones i would want to win it purely because they play the best football. Sadly my team never made it past the group stages hence why i cant support them  :(

Re: UEFA Champions League
well Porto loose today so they 're out... then I guess the most probable outcome would be Man utd vs Barca.
