Everyone else: Having seen porn by the age of 17 does not equal masturbation or being in a habit of masturbation. It means you've seen porn. You also don't need to be fanatically religious to not masturbate, though I'm sure  it helps to some degree.

Yea the laws get even stranger.  Even though the age of consent may be 16 say you are 17 and have a girlfriend that is 16.  You can have sex until you turn 18 and she is 17 then it's illegal again.  Just an example and I know it varies from state to state.

Back to condoms and sex-ed: it was freaked where I live. I remember not going on the classes (you didn't have to), cause at the time it was more like a disinformation rather than education. "Don't do it before wedding" "Love comes first" "Contraception is a sin" and stuff like that, instead of giving some proper advice on how to deal with your body. That was about 10-12 years ago and I observe, with great dose of relief, that they have dropped it now. Sex-ed is now what it should be in the first place. I just wanted to show how absurd some things can get.

The abstinence BS is directed primarily at girls. Slut-shaming and the like.

It's a waste of time. My health class last year had one pregnant girl and three girls who had already been pregnant. All four of them were in ninth grade.

It's not that weird.. for men sex is more banal and shallow thing but for a shy woman-girl (more girl that woman) it's a different thing...

I had forgotten about that.  Grade 5 they started...and then again in Grade 7 or 8.  Again in Grade 9.  Most of the group were pretty silly/awkward about the whole thing during each of the stages but ultimately it worked I think.
