Totally agreed . . . although I have to admit that Pokemon is aimed at children about 11yrs old at the absolute maximum so from that perspective it could be considered as fine.

True. Perhaps older people like myself will look at the name and go, "Eugh.", but then again, I've watched and played quite a bit of strange stuff when I was much younger.

Lies. The Pokemon community has seen this coming ever since FireRed and LeafGreen came out. It was inevitable.

Hmm... it would be a huge nostalgia trip to replay Gold/Silver. Especially with how well FireRed/LeafGreen redid their generation, this is something to look forward to.

Bumping this because I just finished Pokemon Platinum, beat the champ and got the National Dex, and I'm starting to import my LeafGreen and Emerald critters.

Got it purely for nostalgia haven't played since FRLG, then discovered how fun competitive battling is.

Haven't played for a while but I was working on IV breeding so I could get a "sandstorm" party to level 100.  I don't cheat so I don't have any level 100 but I would like to have a match when I have time.

Sweet! Same sort of thing here--I played the first generation (Red) on GameBoy Pocket, and actually competed my Pokedex. I never got a GBA, so when I got my DS I got LeafGreen, Emerald and Platinum and I've been in heaven.

My friend code is 2622-0539-8916. All my Pokemon are in their 50s right now, except for a few lvl 70-80 Legendaries. Are you available now?

No unfortunately I'm not, long day.  

Mondays and Thursdays I will be at work from 8-5 then I have class From 6-10.  But Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Fridays I'll be available from 6:00 pm CST - till whenever.

So I guess either PM me a time or I'll PM you on Tuesday and see if your busy.

BTW, I have quite a few around lvl 60 to 70.  I don't have any legendaries I fiddle mostly in the underused and overused tiers.  But don't mind going against legendaries at all.   Another advantage you will have if you IV/EV train is that most of my IV bred/EV trained are around lvl 30.
