Your sound quality has definitely improved. Try speaking a little slower, and take a stab at a few of the shorter lines. How about all the various pilots at the bottom of the current roles?

Looked for "Iwakura" on Wikipedia:

That was the only example of a "first" name I found on the database. The only other example was a last name for an anime serie.

Given the often irregular interval at which the last or first names are listed on the net for Japanese names (the last name is often listed first, with the given name following that... but not always), I can't quite make a definative decision on wheter it's a first or last name. I do feel more strongly that it's a last name, though. If that's the case, the gender of the pilot is up to the FREDer, who should not have to worry about a "boy named Sue" complex. Was there any other bit of name given besides "Captain Iwakura?" I just can't recall.
